Maverick Transportation announced Brad Vaughn of Kellyville, OK, as their Driver of the Month for January 2012. Vaughn has been with Maverick over 9 years and has been a professional truck driver for over 20 years.

"Brad is one of our senior drivers whose performance has been very consistent over the years," said Fleet Manager Morgan Forrest. "Brad always exceeds our expectations, especially when it comes to safe driving and fuel economy."

The first recipient of twelve Drivers of the Month for 2012, Vaughn has proven himself a leader in the company's fleet. He has been honored with multiple safety awards including a 5 year safe driving ring and a Million Mile Safe Driving Award. He is a driver instructor and former Driver of the Month from 2004.  He cites, "the reputation of the company on the road and the respect Maverick drivers receive," as his favorite part of driving for Maverick.

Every month Maverick recognizes a driver from the company's fleet who takes pride in his profession and the company, employs safety, and maintains Maverick standards in all they do.  Employees vote from the twelve Drivers of the Month and the Driver of the Year will be announced at the end of 2012.  As Driver of the Month, Vaughn will also represent Maverick drivers on the prestigious Driver Advisory Council.
