David Romero

Maverick Transportation announced David Romero from PPA from Lawrence Township, NJ as their January 2023 Dedicated Driver of the Month. Romero has been driving with Maverick since 2019.

"Character is what you do or how you act when no one is looking," said Account Manager Gregg Laughman. "David is always looking to help people who need a hand or a little extra help understanding something. He will walk over to them and ask if they need help, especially to the newer drivers on the yard. He has helped several drivers with their first trips to Canada. David is always doing the right thing - not to get recognition, but because it helps every driver in the end."

Outstanding service gets recognized at Maverick.

The Dedicated Driver of the Month program is a high honor for specially-selected Maverick drivers. Every month, Maverick recognizes one driver from the company's fleet who demonstrates exceptional commitment to their profession, while maintaining Maverick's standards of holding safety in the highest regard. At the end of the year, the Dedicated Driver of the Month committee will choose the Dedicated Driver of the Year, which is announced the following January.
