Mike Magons

Maverick Transportation announced Mike Magons of Wadsworth, OH, as one of their 2022 Trainer Finalists. Magons has been driving with Maverick since January 2019.

"Mike is always willing and ready to help out where and when he can," said Fleet Manager Ryan Zalopany. "He is a very good communicator and is always trying to stay ahead of any problems that he might see coming. His students have nothing but great things to say about him, he's very professional, and is an all-around stand-up driver."

Outstanding service gets recognized at Maverick.

The Trainer of the Year program is a great addition to the OTR and Dedicated Driver of the Year Programs. It’s been designed to recognize Trainers who exemplify the Maverick Way. The Trainer of the Year Program, along with the annual Trainer Summit, will improve Maverick’s ability to gain valuable insight and feedback.
