Concord, NC – Flatbed Dedicated, Home Daily! *NEW Pay Increase!*

Vacation

3 - 18 months of verifiable OTR experience as a new hire, .5 day/month (4 hours)

19 - 48 months of verifiable OTR experience as a new hire, 1 day/month (8 hours)

49 - 108 months of employment, 1.25 days/month (10 hours)

After 109 months of employment, 1.75 days/month (14 hours)

Maverick also has a Driver Holiday Pay Program that pays $100/day for 6 included holidays.

What speed are your trucks set at?

Maverick trucks are governed at 65 mph. We also provide a new technology called PasSmart that is available on each Maverick truck. This technology allows you to drive up to 70 mph for 1 hour during an 8-hour driving period.

*(Divisions that go to Canada will not have the PasSmart option at this time.)

What are the requirements to be a dedicated driver for Maverick?

Maverick’s dedicated divisions have a specified hiring area that is typically a 35-50 mile radius of our customer's facility. You must live within the designated hiring area, be at least 21 years old, and your driving record and hiring criteria must match up with Maverick's requirements.

What if I don't have experience?

Several of our dedicated opportunities do not require any experience, students are welcome to apply. Maverick’s state-of-the-art training will teach you the proper securement techniques required.

How much home time do Maverick dedicated drivers get?

Maverick's dedicated drivers' home time will differ based on account. We have dedicated divisions that are home daily, nightly, or home weekly. The best part about home time in our dedicated fleet – is consistency. And, new for 2022, you earn your PTO on a monthly basis! You can use this in half day or full day increments. 

Can my significant other ride with me? What about animals?

Maverick's passenger authorization program allows one rider at a time, 13 years of age & older, and is at no cost to you. We do not allow animals in our trucks.

Where will my orientation and training take place?

Maverick's training facility is located at our corporate headquarters, in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Will I have to get a passport?

A number of Maverick’s Glass Division dedicated divisions require a passport & travel to Canada. Please ask a recruiter for details!

Will I get to take my truck home with me?

This will differ on each dedicated account. Some of Maverick’s dedicated divisions allow you to take the tractor home with you daily, nightly, or on weekends. Others may require you to commute to the facility, which is why we require that you live within the specified hiring area.
