Clyde Bates

Maverick Transportation announced Clyde Bates from MTR from St. Louis, MO as their March 2021 Dedicated Driver of the Month. Bates has been driving with Maverick since 2018.

"Clyde has been a great addition to our account," said Account Manager Madison Uhlig. "He has a positive attitude and will run any load that is given to him. His numbers speak volumes about Clyde’s approach to the job and how hard he works, but the numbers don’t tell the full story. Clyde is always willing to help anyone that needs it and contribute in any way he can. From helping as MMT flex, to staying out on an RDO for multiple weeks, to providing feedback and helping to lead a load process, Clyde is a go-getter that is always looking to provide top-tier service for the customer."

Outstanding service gets recognized at Maverick.

The Dedicated Driver of the Month program is a high honor for specially-selected Maverick drivers. Every month, Maverick recognizes one driver from the company's fleet who demonstrates exceptional commitment to their profession, while maintaining Maverick's standards of holding safety in the highest regard. At the end of the year, the Dedicated Driver of the Month committee will choose the Dedicated Driver of the Year, which is announced the following January.
