November 15, 2021 (Little Rock, Ark.) – Maverick Transportation announces five major benefits changes to enhance the driving experience for their fleet of over 1,600.

With Maverick’s recent adoption of the Stoneridge/MirrorEye safety technology, the decision has been made to retrofit all 2021 Maverick tractors in the upcoming months. Maverick Drivers have overwhelmingly accepted these safety systems and this move directly ties into their number one priority of safety.

Beginning with the upcoming 2021 Thanksgiving holiday, all Maverick drivers will receive a new Holiday Pay benefit. Each driver will receive $100/day for each of the following holidays; Thanksgiving and the following Friday, Christmas Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. That means $600 more per year for every driver.

Maverick is also rolling out a new Unlimited Wi-Fi Program that will allow their drivers to stay better connected to their friends and families. This Wi-Fi will cost less than $1/day and be available in every truck.

Effective on January 1, 2022, Maverick is increasing their current 401k + Match program to a 100% match up to 5% of the employee’s pay with a cap of $5,000. This move affects all Maverick employees and encourages a solid growth plan for their retirement.

Finally, Maverick is reducing their health insurance premiums for their full coverage health plan by 20% for 2022, providing savings to all of their employees that range from $388 to $1,632 depending on the plan.

As one of the top-paying carriers in the nation, Maverick is known for consistently offering its employees one of the best compensation packages in the industry. Other Maverick benefits include pay increases and performance pay opportunities for their drivers, excellent home time, weekly guarantee pay, paid pre-employment evaluation and training, company-paid life insurance, paid vacation, and more.
