November 1, 2021 (North Little Rock, Ark.) – Maverick Transportation is excited to announce that one of their esteemed drivers, Eric Curlett was chosen as the grand prize winner of the 2021 Pilot/Flying J Road Warrior contest. This contest was advertised on all of Pilot’s digital channels during a 4-week nomination period. There was a total of 2,600 nominations that were narrowed down to 12 and Eric was chosen as the final winner.

Eric has been with Maverick since 2015 and drives in their glass division. He was chosen as a Driver of the Month in 2018 and also drives a highly-coveted veteran truck aptly named, “Salute.” Eric is a 20-plus year United States Marine veteran and resides in TN.

“Eric is a great driver and an awesome mentor to other drivers. He is very deserving of this award and we are so proud that he is part of the Maverick team,” said Maverick President John Culp.
